Project context

Having been assisted by Korus (Asia branch) for several years now for its development in Asia, Regus wishes to expand its network in Europe and quickly set up several sites in France. The English multinational is diversifying by opening co-working centres  under the Spaces brand.
Spaces hires out private office spaces, collaborative workspaces, business lounges and meeting rooms. Changeable spaces with a convivial and trendy atmosphere, in order to foster well-being and efficiency while working. Korus was chosen to design and/or create the first centres in Europe. The plan is for 4 sites to be set up. Currently, the Opéra Garnier and Bonne Nouvelle Spaces have been delivered.

Project challenges

  • Unique design with a “Napoleonic apartment” style that fits in with the Second French Empire architecture of the building in which the co-working space is located.
  • 313 work stations have been set up in offices dedicated to start-ups and to professionals passing through. This Spaces community will be able to take advantage of some 100 seats in the co-working area.
  • The materials used were carefully chosen to achieve a cosy atmosphere and a high-end look: wooden floorboards, wallpaper, bespoke furnishings, floor-to-ceiling glass partitions, designer light fixtures.
